Genius ERP is pleased to share that Carbotech Group, a Genius customer and leading provider of comprehensive sawmill solutions, has recently acquired Sawquip, a manufacturing company specializing in sawmill equipment. 

Sawquip brings with it 35 years of expertise, particularly in the design and manufacture of equipment for the breakdown of logs into lumber. Renowned as a pioneer in North America for its curve sawing equipment, Sawquip has consistently delivered innovative solutions to its customers.

With this acquisition, Plessisville, Quebec-based Carbotech Group aims to enhance its product range and strengthen its position as a leading provider of sawmill solutions. By integrating Sawquip’s products and services into its portfolio, Carbotech can now offer customers access to a broader array of cutting-edge solutions for lumber production.
