Beckwood Press Expands Its Fenton Facility to Support Continued Growth

Beckwood Press

has long been recognised as a leader in engineering custom hydraulic and servo-electric presses and automation systems. Based in Fenton, Missouri, the company has built a reputation for tackling tough metal forming challenges — from aerospace and automotive to heavy industrial applications — with machines designed and built in the U.S.A.

Over the past year, Beckwood Press began expanding its Fenton headquarters to better support growing demand and strengthen its service capabilities. The project adds 36,000 square feet, including 8,000 square feet of new office space and 28,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space, bringing the company’s total operational footprint to 92,000 square feet.

For the Beckwood team, the expansion is more than just square footage. It reflects confidence in the future of American manufacturing, commitment to deepening expertise, and investment in the people who make it all possible. The new office space will house a growing Service Department, established in late 2024, which focuses on preventive maintenance, aftermarket support, retrofits, spare parts, and other long-term equipment lifecycle solutions — all aimed at helping customers maximise uptime and long-term performance.

“This expansion marks an exciting milestone for Beckwood Press,” said Josh Dixon, President of Beckwood Press. “The added space allows us to serve customers with greater efficiency and flexibility while providing room to grow key departments that directly support our vision.”

Supporting Jobs and the Next Generation of Manufacturing Talent

The expansion also brings new opportunities for Fenton. Beckwood expects the expanded facility to create at least 10 new jobs, with potential for that number to grow as operations scale. Local and state leaders noted the importance of this investment, highlighting how it strengthens the regional manufacturing base and reinforces Missouri’s appeal for advanced industrial companies.

Another key part of Beckwood’s expansion is its focus on workforce development. The company recently partnered with Career WayZ on an employer-driven Youth Apprenticeship Accelerator programme, bridging education and industry by helping prepare high school students for careers in manufacturing through hands-on training and mentoring.

Beckwood Press’s growth is rooted in engineering creativity, a commitment to quality, and a belief in the value of American manufacturing. With the expanded facility and a growing team, Beckwood Press is well positioned to support its customers and continue investing in the future of manufacturing.
