Today is Manufacturing Day 2021, and we want to take a minute to say thank you and celebrate everything that manufacturers do for us.

We know that day-in and day-out manufacturers put in the hard work to supply us all with what we need. Manufacturing isn’t always the most glamorous of work, but it is the backbone that keeps our economy—and the world—running. One day is not enough, but we want to take the time and say thank you for everything you do.

The past two years have been challenging for all of us—but especially so for manufacturers as they have had to deal with supply chain interruptions and ever-changing regulations, plus have had to adopt new workflows and processes that include advanced health and safety protocols to keep everyone safe. We are amazed by how manufacturers continue to rise to the challenge, and through grit, hard work, and determination, they are helping to pull us through these challenging times.

Over the next decade, manufacturers will seek to fill 4 million high-skill, high-tech, and high-paying jobs—giving the young people of today the opportunity to help build a better future for us all.
