The Regional Sales Executive will be responsible for helping ignite interest among prospects and driving new business by developing leads that turn into sales and recurring revenue. The ideal candidate will bring an existing, established base of senior level SME manufacturing customer contacts and relationships in their given region. All Regional Sales Executives will work remotely, but will be well supported by our internal marketing and sales performance teams.

Role

We are looking for candidates with experience selling into small/medium manufacturers (SMB) in one or more of the following states:

  • Ohio
  • Michigan
  • Illinois
  • Northern Indiana
  • Missouri

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your extensive list of contacts from the small- and medium-sized manufacturing (SMB) sector within your region to open new accounts
  • Target accounts in defined market verticals for the purpose of qualifying, setting and delivering online demos, nurturing client relationships, gathering client information vital to the success of the ERP installation, and closing new business
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events in your region and across the U.S. to generate new leads and opportunities
  • Manage the complete complex sales accounts cycle
  • Implement value-based selling to establish Genius Solutions as a partner to customers
  • Meet aggressive but fair sales targets on a quarterly and yearly basis
  • Will work out of your home office located anywhere in the your region and travel as required.

Desired Skills and Experience Profile

  • Experience closing business in the SME manufacturing sector over 7-10+ years
  • Experience selling complex, integrated software solutions to SME manufacturers
  • Experience in lean manufacturing processes and continuous improvement in the manufacturing environment
  • Understand manufacturing processes to allow for deep discussion of capabilities and requirements to translate the customer’s challenge into solutions and valuable guidance
  • Understand and appreciate the value of technology solutions for manufacturers
  • History of successfully meeting sales quotas and working in a collaborative sales environment
  • Organized and detailed oriented with strong interpersonal skills; experience managing an accurate and reliable pipeline within a CRM; experience running online presentations and demos (GoToMeeting or similar)
