Project Manager at Genius is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling all project activities. He has a team of manufacturing and accounting consultants who work to train and support users in the adoption of Genius ERP.

  • Proactively manage the     implementation projects of our solution, that is to say: define and manage     the scope, objectives and main stages of projects and coordinate and     assign resources to the different tasks.
  • Manage changes and changes     in projects, make the necessary corrections and have the changes approved     by the client.
  • Ensure that resources and     budget are available for the execution of all project activities.
  • Responsible for the     contractual execution of the projects.
  • Coach and guide team members     to complete projects.
  • Prepare the management     deliverables (project plan, project modification requests and project     lists).
  • Actively monitor the risks     of the project (technical / relational / finance) and scope to anticipate     / identify potential problems to work proactively with the team to find     solutions to resolve them.
  • Ensure that Genius project     management best practices are applied

Specific working conditions for the exercise of the function:

Frequent travel to our customers (especially in the US) up to 35% of the time, usually 1 week, depending on the project phase.

Desired skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in     engineering, computer science and / or administration (information system)     and / or any other relevant experience.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years     experience in project management in the field of information technology
  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Experience in implementing     software packages (ERP) as an advisor
  • Excellent oral and written     communication, both in French and in English
  • Knowledge of Office Suite
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to prioritize     assigned tasks and work under pressure
  • Ease to work in a team and     maintain good interpersonal relationships.
